Apa perbedaan antara kontainer penyimpanan dengan material HDPE (High-Density Polyethylene) dan PP (Polypropylene)?

HDPE unggul dalam ketahanan benturan (impact strength), terutama pada suhu rendah (ideal untuk cold storage atau freezer), dan memiliki ketahanan kimia sangat baik. PP umumnya lebih kaku (rigid), lebih ringan, dan memiliki rating suhu operasional atas lebih tinggi (tahan air panas/autoklaf). PP sering dipilih untuk storage bin (kotak spare part) di MRO atau peralatan Horeca.

Kapan material PC (Polycarbonate) lebih diutamakan daripada plastik standar (PP/PE)?

PC (Polycarbonate) dipilih ketika dua syarat utama dibutuhkan: transparansi optik (kejernihan tinggi) dan ketahanan benturan ekstrem (virtually unbreakable/anti-pecah). Penggunaannya umum untuk shield (pelindung) mesin K3, face shield premium, atau peralatan Horeca reusable (dapat dipakai ulang) seperti Gastronorm pans (GN Pans) bening.

Bagaimana cara memastikan kontainer (storage bin) atau palet plastik yang dibeli telah memenuhi standar food-grade untuk Horeca atau pabrik manufaktur makanan?

Validasi memerlukan dokumentasi dari pemasok. Pastikan produk dibuat dari virgin resin (biji plastik murni, bukan daur ulang) dan secara eksplisit menyatakan kepatuhan standar kontak pangan (seperti FDA-compliant atau regulasi BPOM). Material food-grade menjamin tidak ada migrasi zat kimia berbahaya ke bahan pangan.
